I was reminded recently by a good friend what can happen if a group of people put their minds, hearts and spirits together and collectively focus their intent on achieving a particular goal that miracles can and will show up! Her story was about a friend, I’ll call him “Rob”. Rob had been given 6 months to live at best; a tumor had overtaken a good part of his chest wall. My friend had sent out an e-mail to all close friends and family to focus positive, loving, and healing energy towards this young man to aid his recovery and healing. Within two days of the e-mail going out, he was off pain meds, a couple of weeks later when they went in to remove the tumor- it had shrunk to the size of a dime and he was CANCER FREE. This is a true story of what happens when people decide to change something.
Daily we are reminded that we are in a recession, the horrors of people losing their jobs, closing businesses, violence, and abuse…it’s easy to forget that we are even “allowed” to enjoy our lives. Yet, amidst all of this there is still the wellspring of hope. Love, joy, happiness, health and prosperity are our birthright. Now, more than ever, it is important to stay connected to those things that fill our hearts with love and appreciation. It’s about each individual having the power to affect positive change within their own lives and in turn they will have an effect on each person they come in contact with. Start a gratitude journal ~ write down at least one thing daily that you are grateful for. Make a list of the positive things you would like to see happen in your life and in the world. As a collective we have the power to create global change.
Surrounding yourself with anger, fear, lack and hatred is equivalent to surrounding yourself with a type of emotional “cancer”. No matter what the media is telling us, if as a Nation we can manage to hold on to the things that fill us with joy and gratitude ~ instead of reinforcing the negative ~ just think what kind of miracles can occur not only in our own lives but throughout the world.
So are you ready to make those positive changes in your own daily life?
